Shipping the boats back at the end was a cinch. Just make sure the boats are reasonably clean and dry, pack them back into the box they were delivered in, tape on the return slip, and drop it off at FedEx. Highly recommended for an awesome outdoor adventure.

Our adventure racing team rented two alpaca gnu's from Backcountry and we were very happy with our overall experience. Matt made it very easy to set up the rental over the phone and when we arrived at the host hotel for the race the pacrrafts were there waiting for us just as he had promised. Using the rafts were very simple and it takes no time at all to fill up the raft with the inflator bags. We had a couple question about the rafts once we received them and Matt was always available on the phone to answer our questions. Very satisfying experience with their packrafts. They shipped the rafts right to our hotel a day before the rental period started. The rafts themselves were in great shape and inflated easily in about 5-10 minutes. The rafts came with the inflating bag and hole-patching kit just in case you get in trouble. The rafts are super durable - they easily handled bumping rocks on Class 2-3 rapids on a stream in the Maine backcountry. I really appreciated the self-bailing feature on my boat - you may get a bit wet but it is awesome to not have to worry about scooping water out of the boat.
